My Tuesday Trio this week is showcasing three of the Hostess stamps.
The Hostess stamps are available to you as a Demonstrator but also if you host a Stampin’ party.
Have you considered having a different kind of girls night in or Hen party? All you need to do is ‘host’ a party and I will bring all the supplies needed. You get to create and have fun. What are you waiting for? Give me a call or email today.
So, back onto today’s cards. This first one is using the Hostess stamp, Basket for you. I used the masking technique on this card, which I honestly hadn’t done before. It’s actually really simple to do. I stamped the flower basket onto a post-it note and cut it out as close to the outline then stuck it on the Whisper White layer where I wanted it. I then used Cherry Cobbler to stamp the lines (stamping on the post-it). Peel the note off and you are left with the space for your basket.
I stamped mine in Basic Gray and then used a variety of markers to colour it in. I tied a length of Linen Thread round the card, at an angle, then stamped and cut out the sentiment. I adhered the layer to a base of Sahara Sand card stock.
My second card is made from the Love you lots stamp. This has some really cute animals on this so fairly sure it will be a favourite.
I wanted to keep this one simple so I started with a Real Red base layered with Basic Black and then another layer of Whisper White. I stamped the Ladybirds in Basic Black and used the Real Red marker to colour them in. The sentiment was also stamped in Basic Black.
The third card is from Pun Intended and if you like witty cards this stamp is for you. As the title suggests, it has numerous ‘puns’ relating to images.
I have chosen the image of the camera and the sentiment ‘Snappy Birthday ‘. I used Smoky Slate for the images but stamped off some of them for a lighter image.
I used a small layer of Whisper White on Basic Black for the sentiment and finally added some Metallic Enamel Shapes to finish it off.
I love the Hostess sets and don’t forget, holding a party means you can get your hands on one, or two😊.
