Chocolate Man Bag

My project today would make a great Father’s Day or male birthday gift. I know that Father’s Day isn’t until 17th June but it’s never too soon to think about it. It will soon be here. Plus, if you purchase the products required now you will get a Sale-a-Bration item, whereas if you wait until April or May you will miss out on free stuff!

So, my lovely little project is the cute Man Bag or Satchel which actually contains a box of Toffifee. I’m sure any father would love to receive a gift packaged like this.

To make it you need a piece of cardstock measuring 12″ x 11″ (30cm x 28cm)

On 11″ score 1, 2, 9 and 10″ (2.5, 5, 23 and 25.5cm)

On 12″ score 3, 4, 8.5 and 9.5″ (7.5, 10, 21.5 and 24cm)

The DSP panels you need are as follows:

4.25″ x 0.75″ (11cm x 2cm ) two of these.

6.75″ x 2.75″ (17cm x 7cm )

6.75″ x 2.25″ (17cm x 5.5cm )

6.75″ x 4.25″ (17cm x 11cm )

6.75″ x 0.75″ (17cm x 2cm ) two of these.

The handle is 1″ x 7.5″ and score at 1″ each end. (2.5cm x 19cm, scored 2.5cm each end).

I added a Button to each handle base and decorated it with the Corduroy Ribbon, Tailored Tag Punch and Truly Tailored stamp.

The corner patches were made from a 1″ circle punch, scored and cut into quarters then sponged.

Here is my tutorial for this followed by a list of products I used.

Happy Crafting 😊
