Welcome to the start of my ‘A Weekend Occasion’. Every Saturday I shall bring you a project that relates to an upcoming Occasion or Celebration. To start things off I’m going with the closest celebration…Valentine’s Day.
This cute duo is made using the Painted With Love Suite.
To be totally honest, I wasn’t taken with this suite at first glance. That was until I saw some projects made with it and I changed my mind in an instant. The catalogue really doesn’t do the DSP justice. It really is lush!
My cards have a Thick Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry base, a layer of DSP and some of the gorgeous Vinyl Stickers. I stamped some images in Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry and created a heart with the Love Tinsel Trim.
The Chocolate Slider is simply a wrap around and a tray, for want of a better explanation. I have a tutorial below to show you but here are the measurements you need…
Sleeve DSP – 5.75″ x 4 3/8″. Score at 1″, 1 3/8″, 3 3/8″ & 3.75″.
(In cm DSP 14.6 x 11.1, score at 2.5, 3.5, 8.5 & 9.5)
Insert DSP – 1.15/16″ x 6 5/8″. Score at 0.75″, 1 1/8″, 5.5″ & 5 7/8″.
(In cm DSP 2.4 x 16.8, score at 2, 2.9, 14 & 15)
Apologies for the annoying measurements but my chocolate bar is quite small so I had to go with the sizes of that!!
I do think however, that these little chocolate bars would be ideal for putting in a packed lunch, Suitcase or work bag to let the recipient know you are thinking of them.
I hope you enjoy this project and my Weekend Occasion series.
Happy Crafting 😊
