A little different project from me today. A lovely home decor piece, a vase of flowers that don’t need water changing, wilt or die.
Well actually, a jam jar with paper flowers is what it really is 😊
I used the lovely Beautiful Day stamp and the amazing New Brusho Crystal Colour. Aren’t they so vibrant and pretty?
To create these I simply stamped the flower image in Archival Basic Black on Watercolor Paper. I tapped some Brusho onto a clear block and used my Aqua Painter to mix the Brusho with water to then water colour my flowers.
I fussy cut each one out then added a stem using Always Artichoke cardstock.
The taller stems are the length of the short side of A4 and are all 1cm wide. The shorter ones are 6″ in length and the smallest at the front is 5″ long.
The taller ones are actually double thickness. I used Tear and Tape to adhere two lengths together.
To finish them off I tied a length of Metallic Edge Ribbon round the neck of the jar.
Here is my tutorial followed by the products I used.
Happy Crafting 😊
