Week 5 of my 12 Days Of Christmas Heat Embossing and I’ve brought a simple one that I think looks really effective.
The original design was from the lovely Michelle Last. She made a card with a Crumb Cake Base, Whisper White layer and heat embossed a further layer of Crumb Cake, however she used a different stamp and sentiment and she usedcthree different colours of Embossing Powder.
I used Cheers To The Year snowflakes and stars and White Stampin’ Embossing Powder. I added some Metallic Sequins with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
I added a couple of small strips of Year Of Cheer Washi to the bottom left corner and then heat embossed the sentiment and layered it onto the Silver Foil Sheets. Before adhering I added some Silver Metallic Thread.
I decided to use White Embossing on this card and pick out the silver with the sequins, Washi, foil and thread, which was quite minimally used.
I really like the natural look of Crumb Cake on a Christmas Card. What is your favourite?
