When I started this card I decided I wanted to step away from Christmas and all the Real Red and Garden Green I had been using. This was mainly due to a Christmas Fair that’s coming up this weekend, which I have a stall at!
Anyway, I looked at my pile of pre cut card bases and picked out Sweet Sugarplum. Then I looked for a stamp I hadn’t really used and picked up Oh So Eclectic.
I really love this card. It has a lot more elements and layers than I would usually use but I think I just sat and actually ‘played’ when this card was made.
As you can see, I have used the masks and paste to create the brickwork at the back. I have stamped and die cut elements from the stamp and Thinlits. I added a length of Sweet Sugarplum Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and some Silver Metallic Thread before adding a lovely diamond from the Silver Foil Sheets.
The sentiment is from Hello Friend and then punched out with the 1.25″ circle punch.
I hope you have fun playing with a stamp you haven’t used for a while.
Happy Crafting ?
