Thankyou for joining us for another Joy Of Sets Challenge. This week we had the letter ‘B’ to work with. There are alot of stamps with B somewhere in the name but I chose Birthday Blossoms, which is a new stamp for me and the first time using it. So here it is..
I am really pleased with how this card turned out. I shall share a little secret with you. I actually made this card for this challenge but also for a friend’s birthday, so double use of the card. I do hope she likes it!
To make it I used Flirty Flamingo as the base and also for the punched flowers. The large background flower is Definitely Dahlia, which is also a new, first time use. I stamped this in Powder Pink.
The leaves are Clear heat embossed onto Garden Green and then fussy cut. I used White Embossing Powder on the flowers and used the Pansy Punch to punch them out.
I added a length of Flirty Flamingo Striped Grosgrain Ribbon down one side, adhering with Tear & Tape and then stamped the Dahlia inside too.
The sentiment was stamped in Flirty Flamingo and die cut using the Layering Ovals.
I really like this card and would be really happy to receive it on my birthday.
Happy Crafting ?
