Birthday Lollipops

Today’s project is a fun project that can be made for kids parties, or even adults. They are a little bit of fun and require two things that Stampin’ Up! don’t supply. A drinking straw and a needle! All will become clear!!

To make the rosette part of the lollipop you need two strips of A4 card stock, cut at 2″ wide. You then score all the way along at 1cm. Fold them like a conserving and adhere both ends together so you have a circle.

With some wool, string or in my case Linen Thread, see through all the ‘mountains’ and pull tight and tie off both ends.

Add a Delicate White Doily, a coloured Card circle punched out from the 2.25″ circle punch and then your stamped Whisper White circle, punched from the 2″ circle punch.

Add two tail banners, three punched balloons and decorate with Enamel Shapes.

Finally, adhere a straw, dowle or anything else that will work as a stick the the back and you are finished.

Great project to make up for kids parties.

Here is my tutorial and as always, the projects used follow.
