Origami Folded Chocolate Pouch

The weekend is finally here and I have something a little different for you!

Unfortunately I can’t take credit for this as it was designed by another Demonstrator. Anja RAITHEL made these for her swaps when we went to OnStage in Amsterdam. I was so impressed that I decided to remake them!!

Anja needs a medal. I found these quite tricky to make (as you can see in the video).

I used DSP 6″ x 6″, score at 1.5″, 3″ and 4.5″, rotate and score the same again. You then need a metal ruler and your scoring tool. On a thick pad of paper or magazines, score all the diagonal lines. Fold in all four corners and then seriously, follow the tutorial. Too fiddly to explain ?

The threading of the bakers twine became a problem on my tutorial. Always when the video is running mistakes happen.? If you can see from the image above, you need to start the threading from the outside in and start on a folded down corner hole, if that makes any sense! Basically, the opposite of what I did on the tutorial!!

Your finished project should look like this one! Pull that twine up tight and tie a bow. Beautiful.

I really would love to see how yours turn out. Please let me know ?

Happy Crafting ?
