Teeny Tiny Touches of Texture

A slightly different card from me today. One with a slightly vintage look that I honestly made at the last minute! As Monday was Bank Holiday and hubby was off work it completely threw my days. I sat watching T.V last night and realised I hadn’t made today’s card!!

So, here it is, my Teeny Tiny Touches of Texture…

As always, I make a slightly simpler version first.

Touches of Texture is such a great stamp. It has so many options and so I just stamped!

Wisteria Wonder is the card base and the flower heads. Wild Wasabi for the stalks and Old Olive for the smaller flowers. I coloured those in with Watercolour Pencils and a Blender Pen.

I used Sahara Sand for the distressing and also sponged the edges.

The bees are stamped in Basic Black and Daffodil Delight.

Apart from the sponged edges the rest was done with the stamps.

To upscale I simply stamped and layered the sentiment and added a couple of Metal Rimmed Pearls. Oh, and added a touch of Wink of Stella to the bee’s. I didn’t think this one needed much more.

  1. A beautiful card Sally. I sometimes think that we make the best ‘last minute’ cards as we don’t have the time to put a lot of thought into them. This is one of my favourite sets and I am so pleased it is carrying over.
Gorgeous colour choice, so my style.
