When I first tried this stamp I couldn’t decide on the colour combinations to use but as I was using Melon Mambo I started with that and was then drawn to Wild Wasabi, and I think it worked really well.
I really like how the colours go together. Really bright and another simple card. The only extra colour added was Daffodil Delight for the flames on the candles.
If you want to add a little more to your card, try adding a layer of Pop of Pink Speciality DSP, some Enamel Shapes and some Gold Heat Embossing.
I used the Gold Heat Embossing Powder on the flames and at the bottom of the ‘cake’. I added four Metallic Enamel Shapes to the centre of the ‘cake’. Several Melon Mambo (Brights) Enamel Shapes were added around the edge too. I layered this onto the DSP.
I really do love how one of Stampin’ Up! Stamps can be enough to generate a whole card. I haven’t used any other stamps with this one and it looks great.
Have a go yourself, see what colour combos you come up with.
