Tinned Candle Box

I’m so excited to bring you this project today. Not only are you getting three for the price of one but I am using my all time new favourite suite, So Succulent ?

I cannot put into words how much I love this suite and I think most people think I’m a little crazy, but I don’t mind, I just love it.

Anyway, today’s Trio of loveliness consists of a box, card and envelope.

The box is actually adapted from one already designed by a very talented crafter, Crafty Caroline Creates. Caroline made the box for a smaller tinned Candle and I actually had purchased the larger ones for a gift. I ‘up scaled’ her box to fit the larger candle although I have omitted the liner to the box as I just couldn’t get the measurements to work ?

So, the measurements you need are as follows:

Base (solid colour) – 5 3/16″ scored at 1″ on all sides,

Base (stamped or DSP) – 6 1/8″ scored at 1.5″ on all sides,

Lid (stamped or DSP) – 6 3/16″ scored 1.5″ in all sides,

Lid (solid colour) – 5 1/8″ scored at 1″ on all sides.

Apologies for the fractions of inches but it was the only way to make it fit!!

When adhering you box remember the adhere the tabs on the outside parts inside and the tabs on the inside pieces, adhere to the outside!!

The card is simply made up with Thick Whisper White as the base and then a Sweet Sugarplum or Mint Macaron layer of 9cm x 9cm. The off cut from the one sheet wonder is 8cm x 8cm.

Happy Birthday is from Tin of Cards and I just used the PL Corner Punch on one corner and added some Enamel Shapes.

The envelope is made from Succulent Gardens DSP and using the Envelope Punch Board.

I hope you have fun making up your trio of loveliness.

Here is my tutorial to help.

Happy Crafting ?
