Tuesday Trio of Cello Bags and Chocolate

Some shapes are just so awkward to wrap and Stampin’ Up! cellophane bags are just ideal.

Obviously you can’t see each individual bag in this picture so as usual I shall show each project one at a time.

So this first project shows off the 20.3cm x 5.1cm cellophane bag. It is just big enough to fit four of the large chocolate coins inside. I added a strip of Pop of Pink DSP in the back, just a fraction smaller. I used the Lots of Labels to fold over the top, using Melon Mambo and Whisper White. The sentiment is from Thankful Thoughts, stamped in Melon Mambo and I added a couple of Enamel Shapes to finish it off.

This cellophane bag is one of the large bags at 20.3cm x 15.2cm and is a really good size. I always like to buy my son and husband one of these Toblerone triangles as a stocking filler but always struggle with wrapping them. As you can see, they fit perfectly in these bags  and you can embellish it any way you want.

I chose the Presents and Pinecones DSP as the backing and then the Pretty Pines Thinlits to cut the pine branches. I used Emerald Envy and Mint Macaron. The bow is cut out of Cherry Cobbler.

The sentiment is from Christmas Pines, stamped in Emerald Envy and then punched out with the Decorative Label Punch. I added a few Rhinestone Jewels just to add a little sparkle.

This last one has to be my favourite. I just love the Malteser chocolate, especially the small Reindeers and Easter bunnies.

In this bag I managed to fit four small Reindeers from the multipack and one larger one in the front.

These bags measure 7.6cm x 15.2cm. I cut a strip of Candy Cane Lane DSP just slightly smaller then scored it at 1/2″ and 2″ to give the front lip and the base.

Once filled I used the 1/2″ circle punch to make the two holes at the top then threaded a length of Kraft Rope Trim through and tied a bow at the back.

The tag on the front is cut out with the Layering Squares. I stamped the Reindeer from Cookie Cutter Christmas, in Chocolate Chip then punched out with the builder punch.

The stars are from Greetings from Santa and I added a small bow of Candy Cane Lane Bakers Twine (Real Red). The two Mini Jingle Bells are looped through some Silver Metallic Thread and secured to the back of the Reindeer before he is adhered to the tag.

These are just a few ideas that you can do with these cellophane bags. I’m sure you will come up with a lot more.
