Thank Crunchie it’s Friday, another lovely weekend to look forward to. I’m saying it’s lovely as my hubby is out all day tomorrow so I get an extra day in my craft room ?
So Festive Friday arrives again and I have chosen a bit of sparkle for today’s project.
This is the lovely Santa’s Sleigh stamp and co-ordinating Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits. So many more options but I shall save them for another day!
The base of this card, as with all of my Whisper White bases, is the thick Whisper White layered with the sparkly Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. I think it looks just like the fresh fallen snow that glitters.
For the sleigh I used the Silver Foil Paper and adhered the detailed die to the base with the fine tip glue pen. For the trees I used Garden green card stock but stamped them with Always Artichoke. I also added some of the Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details on what would be the top of each branch.
The wreath on the front of the sleigh is Old Olive card stock stamped with Always Artichoke. I used the Always Artichoke marker to colour in the leaves but you could always use a blender pen or leave them as they are. The bow is Real Red card stock stamped with Real Red ink.
The remaining touch is the sentiment, which I borrowed from Hang Your Stocking stamp. It is stamped in Real Red onto Whisper White and layered with Real Red. The punches used were 2″ and 1 3/4″ circle punches. A few Silver Metallic Enamel Shapes just finishes it off nicely.
I hope you have started making your Christmas cards or at least thought about it. It’s not long now you know ?
