Today’s Trio is to show three techniques that you use to create different looks.
Both of these cards use the Blooms and Bliss DSP, which I think is just lovely. I also used the co-ordinating Blooms and Wishes stamp.
This card has a Rich Razzleberry base with a Blooms and Bliss DSP layer. I then used the spritzer with a mixture of Isopropyl and Sweet Sugarplum ink to ‘spritz’ a sheet of Whisper White.
I stamped some of the flower images and sentiment and then layered this onto Sweet Sugarplum. I added a Blushing Bride Enamel Shape to the centre of the flower.
The spritzing maybe could have been a little darker but it is a bit of a trial when you add the ink.
This card has a base of Island Indigo and a layer of the Blooms and Bliss DSP. I used the Aquapainter and Mint Macaron to give a background wash. I did this on Watercolour Card. I then used a blender pen to colour the flower stamp to give it a more subtle effect but stamped the sentiment in Island Indigo.
I think you can get some great effects with these pens and tools. Give them a try and see what you come up with.
