My Trio today is one Thinlits and three varying designs with it.
Previously I made the basic box for Popcorn, and it was lovely but I wanted to try making the basic box with different designs. So I came up with a lovely way of giving a small gift, Halloween (which will be here soon) and Christmas (which is also getting closer).
I shall start off with the lovely Paisleys and Posies box. I used the DSP for the box and simply layered the sentiment on Rich Razzleberry, stamped and die cut a flower and tied co-ordinating ribbon round the cellophane bag to decorate. Simple as that. This gift has tealights inside.
The Christmas edition was cut out with Whisper White and decorated with Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape, Real Red Bakers Twine from the Candy Cane Lane Bakers Twine and Metallic Enamel Shapes. The cellophane bag was tied up with the Real Red Stitched Edge Ribbon. The sentiment was stamped in Real Red and punched out with the Decorative Label Punch. I adhered it with a couple of glue dots right on the edge of the box.
The Halloween was also is a simple one to make up. The box is the beautiful Halloween Night DSP. The sheet I used is the spiderweb which is black with silver running through. I made the spider in Basic Black and punched out two circles (1 3/4″) and then used the Duet Banner Punch for the legs, cutting each banner in half (from one end to the other). I used a couple of ‘googly’ eyes which I purchased from eBay. These eyes are 7mm. I used my paper piercer to pierce a small hole at the top to loop the Halloween Night bakers twine through and tied it round the top of the cellophane bag.
I enjoyed making these three variations and I am sure there are many, many more too.
