A couple of weeks ago I was fortunate enough to go to Manchester for a team training retreat with several other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, which was led by the very talented Pootles and guest starred the lovely Paula Gorry.
During our weekend we had various games, business talk and tips and of course, some crafting.
Now I have to be honest, I wasn’t a fan of the Paisleys and Posies set when I first saw it but since I have seen various projects with it I have changed my mind. It was changed completely when Pootles actually had us make a card with the beautiful DSP.
This was the card I made, which does show off a small selection of the DSP. As you can see, there is also co-ordinating ribbon. Lovely isn’t it.
Of course I have now purchased the whole suite and intend to make many more projects to showcase this lovely DSP, stamp set and framelits.
As you can see, it was a basic layer on the base of Delightful Dijon then three other layers of DSP. There are no specific measurements for the smaller layers, just what looked right. I still kept the 0.5cm rule for the border. I added a length of the ribbon and a sentiment stamped in Rich Razzleberry.
Go on, get your suite ordered today. By January it will be gone.
