Hi everyone, thank you for dropping by for another installment on my blog.
Today is a lovely bright card that fits well with this time of year as there are bee’s in our gardens, collecting pollen from the flowers.
I love how these spinner cards work. They really make a difference to a card.
For this one I started off with a base of Daffodil Delight and a layer of Whisper White. Using the Whisper White layer I used the Sliding Star Framelits to cut the outer and inner circle which forms the track.
I decorated the layer with tiny bee’s and the hive in the centre. The hive was coloured with Delightful Dijon and Daffodil Delight markers. The larger bee was coloured the same way.
Hopefully you can see in the photo above but I used Dazzling Details on the wings, again, just to add a little glitter to it.
To make the spinner element you will need two washers. My husband says they are ‘M8’ in size. You need to cut the points off the dimensional and sandwich it between two washers. Add another dimension to the top of the washer and adhere the large bee.
When you adhere the centre circle to the card ensure that it is central as this will affect how the spinner goes round the track.
Hopefully you will have fun making a spinner card just like I did.
