Isn’t this just a lovely, girly card?
My lovely neighbour, Val, is celebrating her 60th Birthday on Tuesday and she loves pink and ‘bling’, so what better card to make.
Obviously I had to use Flirty Flamingo as the main colour, so card base and stamped flowers, the leaves are stamped in Pear Pizzazz. All from Number of Years Stamp set.
The ’60’ is also from Number of Years but ‘Happy Birthday’ is from Tin of Cards stamp. These were embossed with silver glitter.
I used Versamark to stamp the numbers and words then covered with the Heat and Stick powder. This is heated with a low heat to melt it then I added the Silver glitter and heated this. I am really impressed with this as the glitter doesn’t keep falling off or flaking everywhere. It stays on the card.
I used the Sweet and Sassy Framelits and Flirty Flamingo card stock for the heart that the numbers were adhered to. A finishing touch was to add a few Metallic Enamel Shapes, hearts, randomly.
As this is an A5 card I needed to make an envelope. I used the Envelope punch board and the In Colour Envelope Paper.
I think she will like it. I really like the design of this card and have actually used it a few times on smaller cards.
Do you have a design of card that you go back to?
