Oh my goodness, that’s right, Christmas stuff!!?
I know, it’s too soon, some of you haven’t even had your summer holiday yet. Sorry, but as the new Autumn/Winter catalogue is due out next month I felt it only fair to bring the odd project from the Christmas section of the Annual Catalogue.
I have gone with the Wonderous Wreaths as I seem to have a thing for Pear Pizzazz just lately! I don’t know why.
This lovely wreath makes a great napkin holder and this is where my inspiration for a place setting came from.
I used thick Whisper White and the stamped with Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green. I then stamped the berries with Versamark and heat embossed with Gold Powder. I used the Wonderful Wreath Framelits to die cut it out then added a small bow of Gold Natural Tim with a glue dot. Simple yet effective.
The name place card (what are they called?) is a piece of Pear Pizzazz 3″ x 2″ which I randomly stamped with Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green. The strip of Whisper White is 3″ x 3/4″ and stamped in Basic Black with the Labeler Alphabet. A strip of the Gold Natural Trim was stuck underneath. The flower is stamped in Real Red and die cut out. I added some Gold Metallic Thread to the back before adhering. I love it.
This is a cute After Dinner Mint holder. I think it ties everything in nicely. Again, I’ve used Pear Pizzazz card stock (2″ x 9″) and punched both ends with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. I placed two of my after dinner mints in the centre then gently folded up the sides to give me a guide where to score. Once I had done this I stamped the front with the same inks and Gold heat embossed berries.
I die cut ‘joy’ out of a Gold foil sheet and stamped the bow in Real Red. This was also die cut out and I added a White Perfect Accent to the centre. To tie the top up I used some more Gold Natural Trim.
Unfortunately the after dinner mints do slide out if the holder is moved too much but then it is really just for decoration. You could always combine the Mint holder with the name card! Just an idea.
I hope you have enjoyed my Trio today and given you something to think about…….Christmas!?
Happy Crafting everyone.
