Hi everyone and welcome back to another week of projects from yours truly. Did we all have a good weekend? I really did. Not only did the Decorative finish painting but my pre order arrived for the new goodies from the Christmas catalogue!!? Exciting or what? Now, unfortunately Saturday was spent cleaning after said decorator and catching up on washing. Sunday I had all the ironing ? and of course, projects for my blog to make and catch up on. So as yet I still haven’t had any time to ‘play’ with my new goodies? Maybe I will have some time today?
Anyway, back to today’s delicate card. This actually started off as a Colour Challenge card that Pootles set. The colours she gave were the ones I used, Mint Macaron, Emerald Envy, Sweet Sugarplum and Pink Pirouette. The reason the card never went into the colour challenge was due to a lack of a technical brain! Linking this and copy and paste that!! Too much for me I’m afraid. Oh well, I got today’s card out of it.
The stamp I used was Wild about Flowers and it’s a two step stamp. You stamp the stems first then the flower heads second. I would never have imaging used the Mint Macaron as a flower stem but I adored the results of it with Sweet Sugarplum.
The sentiment was stamped in the Emerald Envy and the butterflies are stamped in the Pink Pirouette and is from Grateful Bunch stamp.
I really do love the softness of this card.
Why don’t you have a go with the colour challenge, see what you come up with.
