Thoughtful Branches Seasons

So, the new and ‘for one month only’ Thoughtful Branches stamp and Beautiful Branches thinlits bundle.

This stamp and die bundle is only available to purchase during August. There are so many possibilities with this set and I’ve tried to show you some here but there are so many more.

I shall start off with the flower….

I’m afraid I’m hopeless when it comes to names of flowers, apart from Daisy, Daffodil and Rose, that’s about my knowledge. I just know that this one is beautiful. I have used the ‘tree’ part of the Beautiful Branches thinlits to create the flower head. I could have stamped the image first (which I have done on the trees) but I decided not to on this one, again to show the versatility of it all.

I have used Flirty Flamingo, Very Vanilla and Pear Pizzazz card stock, Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon, Decorative Label Punch, Basic Pearl Jewels and the Flirty Flamingo marker to add ‘stitching’ detail to the label, oh and an In Colour enamel shape (Flirty Flamingo heart).

I class this as a summer card (as you will see when you read on). The base is Tip Top Taupe, layered with So Saffron (Subtles) DSP and another layer of Tip Top Taupe.

On Whisper White I stamped the tree trunk in Chocolate Chip and the top in Garden Green. The apples are Real Red and the birds are Basic Black. All die cut out with the Beautiful Branches thinlits. Look how precise the cutting is. Amazing ?. I used the layered ovals for the sentiment and tied some Linen Thread round the base.

Autumn, my favourite time of year. I just love all the colours and the start of cost nights by the fire. Sorry, I’m just not a sun worshipper at all.

So, this card is cut out with the same dies. The tree trunk and branches are cut out of Chocolate Chip card stock. The top of the tree I actually coloured with the Many Marvellous Markers, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Soft Suede. It was a little fiddly and time consuming but the result speaks for itself.  The leaves at the bottom were cut out of co-ordinating card stock.

Finally we have winter, or Christmas. Sorry for mentioning that word when summer has only just begun!

This card shows off the bare tree with branches that I used on the Autumn card. I used the layering ovals to add the Soft Sky behind the tree and the ground is stamped in Smoky Slate.

The sentiment is stamped from Peaceful Pines and punched out with the Snow Flurry punch. That is layered onto a circle of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.

To finish it off I added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels around the tree.

Four completely different cards from one stamp and thinlits bundle and I haven’t covered all possibilities either.

Remember, its only available during August so grab it while you can and whilst you’re doing that, don’t forget the Bonus Days. Spend £45 or more to receive a voucher for use in August. Do you really need any other reason. Shop now ?
