We all know how ridiculously hot it’s been this week so I’m not going to say anything about it.
This lovely idea was C.A.S.E’d from our Annual Catalogue however i had changed mine a little, well quite a bit actually.
I decided to use my wedding day as the basis of this one and also tried to tie in the colours I had for my wedding too.
To begin with I cut down my card stock according to the size of my frame, my frame was 9×9 so I used Sweet Sugarplum as a border then cut some Whisper White 8×8.
I used Number of Years for the background flowers. I stamped all of the background colours on a scrap piece first to give the lighter tone to it. I used Pear Pizzazz for the leaves and the flowers were stamped in Perfect Plum, So Saffron and Sweet Sugarplum.
On a separate sheet of Whisper White I stamped Mr & Mrs in Sweet Sugarplum and Perfect Plum from the Letters for you stamp then cut them out with the Large Letters Framelit dies. Don’t they look so professional?
The numbers were stamped in Perfect Plum using the Number of Years stamp and then cut out with the Large Number Framelit dies.
I am really impressed with the stamps and dies and I am really happy with how this turned out.
Just think how many of these you could make as gifts for parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, in fact any family member and it doesn’t have to be a wedding. You could do births, christenings, special birthdays, just about anything. How personal is that. A perfect gift.
All you need is a frame and ….
