Half way through another week and I’m sure we must be getting close to school summer holidays or holidays in general. Have you booked a holiday yet? Maybe your visiting family or just relaxing, either way it’s a break from the norm.
I am due to go on holiday soon and I’m really looking forward to it. Although I’m trying to get as much done before, including my projects and blog. I must admit, I am quite enjoying working in advance. It takes the pressure off a bit.
Anyway, on to today’s project, Something for Baby. I really do like this set as you can make simple ones…..
Or add a bit more and create….
So the ‘simple’ ones are made with Thick Whisper White base and then onto a scrap piece of Whisper White I stamped the vest or babygro in either Marina Mist or Flirty Flamingo and cut them out with Baby’s First Framelits.
I stamped the sentiment in the same colour using the Sunshine Sayings. A quick yet ‘to the point’ card.
The ones with ‘extra’ and started off in the same was as the basic ones, except the pink vest is stamped in Blushing Bride.
For the girl card I used Pink Pirouette for the bib and used the Many Marvellous Markers to colour the ducks in Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie. Again using Baby’s First Framelits.
The added ‘extra’ on the boy stacking consist of a cute little tie, stamped in Soft Sky and a stacking toy that I coloured in with the Markers. I used Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Mint Macaron Sweet Sugarplum, Crushed Curry and Peekaboo Peach.
To finish off these cards I used the sentiment from Suite Saying, stamped in co-ordinating ink and punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch. I layered it with matching card stock punched out. I used the fine tip of the Markers to add a stitched effect round the edge too.
I like both types of cards and both are fun to make too. There is plenty of options in this stamp set and the framelits make life so much easier.
