Most people just love parties, especially those who are celebrating something special. Whether it be a birthday, wedding, anniversary, graduation, christening the list just goes on.

Wouldn’t it be great to be able to offer a truly unique, personal gift. Being able to make the decorations for the party? You will know what the celebrating person will want and what tastes or colours they like. It can be made totally personal for that person.

Today’s Tuesday Trio consists of Bunting, Name place cards and a cute After Dinner Mint pouch.

I decided to go with Peekaboo Peach with my Trio. They really were relatively easy and quick to make.

So this lovely Bunting started off as a 12″ x 12″ sheet of In Colour 2016-2018 DSP. (The Peekaboo Peach with spots). I then cut it down into 2.5″ x 6″ strips. To make the ‘tails’ on the bottom, on the reverse,  I measured 1.5″ up the centre and drew lines, lightly, in pencil from the point to each corner and cut them, removing a triangle shape.

To decorate I used Layered Letters and Peekaboo Peach ink and stamped individual letters onto Whisper White then punched them out with a 1.75″ circle punch. I added an enamel shape to the bottom. Using Peekaboo Peach card stock I punched a 2″ circle to layer behind. The flowers are Petite Petals which were stamped and punched out with the co-ordinating punch. I added a White Perfect Accent to the centre of each flower.

Finally I used my 1/8 handheld punch to punch two small holes at the top, either side and threaded a length of Whisper White Thick Bakers Twine through them.

The name cards or name place cards started off as strips of card stock 2.5″ x 5″ and scored at 2.5″.

I used Timeless Textures and Peekaboo Peach ink on the background and again used Layered Letters and Petite Petals to stamp on Whisper White, which was punched out with 1.75″ circle punch. The Petite Petals were actually stamped off before stamping onto the Whisper White. The layer of DSP behind was punched out using the 2″ circle punch.

Before adhering the Whisper White to the DSP I added a few loops of Silver Metallic Thread, just to add some texture. I also added the punched out Petite Petals and White Perfect Accents.

These Delightful After Dinner ‘pouches’ are just cute and will look great on any dinner or party table and are so easy to make.

So with some Peekaboo Peach card stock, each strip needs to measure 2″ x 9.5″. Then score at 4″ and 5.5″. Using the Decorative Label Punch, punch both ends of the strip. Fold and burnish your score lines.

Using Delicate White Foiled cut into waters add two to the front of your ‘pouch’. Then, with a small piece of DSP measuring 1.75″ x 2.5″, round the top two corners with the Project Life Corner Punch and adhere over the Doilies.

With, yes you’ve guessed it, Peekaboo Peach ink and Whisper White card stock, stamp your sentiment. I used ‘Just as sweet as can be’ from Sweet Stack. Punch out with the 1.5″ circle punch and adhere to the DSP on the front

Finally cut a length of Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon and loop through the top. Beautiful. Oh, and don’t forget to add your after dinner mints, if you have any left!!

I really enjoyed making this Trio and it just goes to show, with the right products anything is possible.

Happy Crafting.?
