Tuesday Trio of cards

Now I know I usually bring you a mixture of cards and 3D projects for my Tuesday Trio but yesterday I received my new goodies from the new catalogue. I was so excited and wanted to play with it all straight away. I decided that if I used three of the new products I could give you the first look at some if the new products.

So, from left to right we have Jar of Love, then Foxy Friends and finally Sunshine Sayings.

Jar of Love is a really cute collection of three different sized jars and numerous embellishments, from flowers and leaves to fish and water.

On mine I used Bermuda Bay on the jar and water but stamped the water off first. The flowers and leaves were stamped with the following colours; Cucumber Crush, Night of Navy, Blushing Bride, Watermelon Wonder, So Saffron and Crushed Curry.

I used the Everyday Jars Framelits for some of the flowers and leaves. I added a strip of Love and Affection Washi tape across the bottom and some Bermuda Bay Bakers Twine round the top.

Isn’t the Foxy Friends just adorable. I’m sure these are going to be a firm favourite of most people. There are so many possibilities but I stuff with the foxes just for today.

The base is Smoky Slate and the layer is A Little Foxy DSP. The vines are stamped in Cucumber Crush and the Tree is stamped in Always Artichoke. I cut the tree out by hand.

Mr Fox was stamped in three individual pieces and punched out with the fox punch. I then stuck him together with glue dots. Mrs Fix was stamped as a whole and I cut her out by hand too. They were both stamped in Calypso Coral, faces are in Basic Black and Mr Fox legs are in Chocolate Chip.

I added some Vanilla Lace Trim for a veil and some Basic Pearl Jewels. The sentiment is from Suite Sayings, which was stamped in Always Artichoke and a few more pearls added underneath.

Sunshine Sayings is just that, isn’t it. The font of the wording is just lovely and the flower is just great. I guess I was a little overwhelmed with all the goodies I had received so this card is quite basic, but I still think it is quite pretty.

I used Real Red for the base and then layered with Watercolour Paper. I watercolour the background with Pool Party and Wild Wasabi. The flower was die cut from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits in Daffodil Delight.

‘Sunshine’ was die cut from the same Thinlits but I used watercolour paper. I then used my Aquapainter and Dapper Denim to colour it in, fading as I went along. I just finished it off with some bright sequins.

Tomorrow I will bring you another new product. I’m so excited and definitely have my crafting mojo back now.

Happy Crafting?
