Easy colour vellum

I am really quite happy with this card as I really felt like my creative ‘mojo’ had gone for a walk this week. I struggled to come up with anything that I could say I was remotely happy with.  Thankfully my ‘mojo’ returned just in time to creative today’s project.

As quite often with my cards, the base is Whisper White and underneath is a layer of Affectionately Yours DSP.

For the Vellum, I stamped random flowers and leaves from the Love and Affection stamp with Versamark. I then heat embossed them with white heat emboss powder.

Once I had embossed the flowers I then used my blender pen and various inks and ‘coloured in’ the back of the flowers. Where the flowers and leaves were solid I just coloured them in, going ‘outside the lines’ a little.

The sentiment is actually from Pop of Paradise, which I stamped in Daffodil Delight. It was punched out with the 1 3/8″ circle punch. The leaves are from the Love and Affection stamp, which I stamped in Pear Pizzazz and fussy cut out.

I actually really like this card and the idea. It could be done with most stamps. Hope you have a great week.

Happy Crafting.
