Celebration without Confetti

It’s Friday again and so I thought I would end the week with a bright selection of card stock and ink.

This is the new Confetti Celebration stamp set and I really love the selection of words in it.

I have a Whisper White base, layered with Pacific Point then Whisper White. At the top I stamped the string of lights in Crushed Curry. At the bottom I stamped ‘Hooray’ in Pacific Point.

The star was stamped in Melon Mambo which I then cut out but I’m fairly sure it fits into the medium star punch (which I don’t have, yet).

I used the Lots of Labels Framelits to create the centre layering of this card. I started with Bermuda Bay then Melon Mambo and finished off with Whisper White which was stamped. I used Melon Mambo on the sentiment and Crushed Curry on the small stars. This was adhered with dimensionals.

The small balloons at the top were stamped in Bermuda Bay and then I added a layer of clear Wink of Stella. I actually used a small, retired balloon punch for these but you can cut them out just as easily. Thus were adhered with half a dimensional.

I was inspired to use these colours as they were actually next to each other in my cupboard. I’m really pleased how it turned out as it could be used for either make or female.

Have a great weekend. Happy Crafting.
