Dropping Acorns

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed your past times, whatever they may be. I’ve had plenty of time as my husband has just purchased a motorbike! As the weather has been nice he’s been out on his bike so perfect quiet time for me to craft ?, even if it is with some worry!!

So, the first card I made was this lovely card with the Acorny Thank you bundle. I had my eye on it for a few months and figured I would get it whilst it’s still a bundle in the current catalogue as it’s not available as a bundle in the new one.

The base is Chocolate Chip with a layer of Pumpkin Pie. I couldn’t help but think of chocolate orange when I saw this combo.

I stamped the Hardwood stamp in Chocolate Chip onto a layer of Very Vanilla. I then added a strip of Pumpkin Pie and then embossed the layer of Very Vanilla with the Woodgrain TIEF. This was adhered with dimensionals.

The acorn was also stamped with Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie, punched out and adhered with dimensionals.

The sentiment I coloured with matching markers and stamped onto Very Vanilla. I used the Project Life Corner Punch to round one corner then sponged the edges with, you’ve guessed it, Pumpkin Pie.

I did used a fair amount of products on this card but I felt the Hardwood and Woodgrain just worked so well with this stamp. I really do like it and may have to use it some more.

Don’t forget to check back tomorrow for me Tuesday Trio and make sure you place your orders soon before the retiring products are gone for good. Any problems, just contact me. I am more than happy to help.?
