Well, the weekend is nearly here and boy am I ready for it.
I had a challenge to use this DSP on a project so I came up with this, plus a couple of others. This one was my favourite though.
I used a simple Whisper White base then, using the 1″ square punch I punched two squares from each sheet of DSP (as it’s double sided).
I decided on which squares went on which strip, which were Basic Black, Whisper White and Tip Top Taupe cut at 1.5″ x 4″.
Once I decided on the colours I stuck each one on with a dimensional. The ‘left overs’ I stuck either side of the centre strip as a backing. You will need to pinch one more square out for this part.
I found the best way to get them equal distance apart was to stick the outer strip first, then the base/back ground squares and finally the centre strip.
For the wording I used the Back to Basics alphabet stamp and used To Top Taupe. I cut the sentiment out and sponged the edges with Tip Top Taupe and adhered it with dimensionals.
This was a relatively quick yet effective card to make and I really enjoyed using the Go Wild DSP. It took me out of my comfort zone a little, which is always good.
Have a fabulous weekend and I will see you back here on Monday.
