Still with the gardening theme, how cute is this little box? The basic shape is made from one Thinlit die which you cut out twice.
I hadn’t had chance to use the lovely Curvy Keepsake Box Die but as soon I had made this one I just wanted to make lots of them in different colours and themes. The size of them are quite deceiving as they are quite big inside.
For this one I used Cucumber Crush. I then cut two pieces of matching card stock to fit the ‘sides’ or ‘front’ and ‘back’ whichever way you look at it. I then used some fringe scissors and cut the pieces to give the grass effect. I did need to cut into some of the strands at an angle otherwise some were too thick.
The larger flowers were stamped and punched from the Petite Petals bundle. I used Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Crushed Curry. A matching candy dot was added to the centre. The smaller flowers were punched from the Itty Bitty Accent flower punch, using matching card stock and a basic pearl was added to the centre.
The butterfly was cut in Daffodil Delight using the Bold Butterfly Framelit and some basic pearls were added on the wings and in the centre of the butterfly.
The Curvy Keepsake Box is just adorable and perfect for almost any occasion, including Wedding Favours, Party gifts or maybe for a treat for someone.
