As you can see, I have continued with the Gardening theme with today’s Tuesday Trio.
I have tried something new with the muslin bag, which was alot of fun.
The card was layered with Delightful Dijon and English Garden DSP. I then wrapped a length of Burlap round one side. I caught one end over the top with three glue dots the put some fast fuse on the card and added three more glue dots to the bottom and folded that under.
I stamped some of the images from Gift from the Garden stamp set in Soft Suede onto Delightful Dijon, tied a bow of Very Vanilla Thick Twine and then stamped the sentiment, also in Delightful Dijon. This was punched out with the Washi Label punch.
The seed pouch was very simple to make. You just need a piece of DSP measuring 7.5″ x 5.75″. Then score at 3.5″ and 7″ , rotate and score at .5″. Fold and burnish your score lines.
Cut away the corner square and cut wedges into the tabs. Put snail on the tabs and then fold in and adhere to the back panel. You now have your pouch.
To decorate I punched a 1.5″ circle in Delightful Dijon then stamped the sentiment from Sparkle and Shine onto Whisper White and punched this with a 1 3/8 circle punch. I also looped a length of Linen Thread behind the circles, securing the ends with glue dots.
The muslin bags were the easiest and most fun to do. They come in packs of 8.
All I did was stamp the dotted leaves from Grateful Bunch in Pear Pizzazz then using the small flower from Number of Years and Pumpkin Pie I stamped a punchof flowers across the bottom. I think it looks quite effective.
