Bright Thank you

I have to say that I am quite excited this week. I finally seem to have found my feet a little bit more now and feel ready to bring you some different projects, not just cards. How exciting is that.

Check back tomorrow for what I have called Tuesday Trio.

So back to today’s little project which has something different too.

Orange thankyou

A pretty thankyou card. Sometimes it’s all that’s needed to say everything.

I hadn’t previously attempted a three part stamp prior to making this card but I must say, I quite enjoyed it and think the effects are great.

This is the ‘What I love’ S-A-B stamp. There are some other stamp sets in the catalogue that require triple stamping. These give a 3D effect.

When I stamped this image I did actually stamp the second image on a scrap piece of card first. This will make the ‘filling in’ slightly lighter. The third one can be stamped with heavier ink, or you can try different shades of inks.

The lovely pattern on the first white layer is from a textured impressions embossing folder (TIEF), called Filigree Frame. Running this through a Big Shot gives you a little something extra to any card.

Just to finish it off I have added a touch of Wink of Stella gold to the centre of the flower.

I hope the cards I make have given you plenty of inspiration and starting points for your own creativity. Don’t forget Tuesday Trio tomorrow.
