There is always a time when a friend or relative needs to feel they are not alone.
I think this stamp set is ideal for those occasions.
The stamp set is called sheltering tree and I just love it. Even my son commented on how good it looks, which is rare for him to comment on much at all, never mind my cards.
The fact that you can alter the whole look of the card just by changing the colour of the leaves makes it very versatile. You could use Blushing Bride to make it look like blossom in the spring or Whisper White for snow on Christmas cards! Sorry, far to early to mention that word yet.
On this card I used Chocolate Chip for the trunk then added Delightful Dijon, Crushed Curry and a light touch of Old Olive, in that order, for the leaves. The grass is also Old Olive and the sentiment, from the same stamp set, Pear Pizzazz. The rake was stamped with Soft Suede.
The base card is Hello Honey. The Curvy Corner Trio punch was used to create the detail at the bottom and a candy dot was added just to finish it off.
