Isn’t that just so true. The minute you mention free and everyone’s ears pick up. Most will say, what’s the catch? If buying products that you love and want to use over again is a catch then maybe there is one.
On my facebook page, Sally’s stampers, you will hopefully have seen the flyer for Sale-a-Bration on there.
Basically until March 31st anyone shopping and spending £45 or over can claim a Sale-A-Bration (S-A-B) item. (Or two if you spend £90 and so on). These range from stamps and washi tape to DSP and vellum. They are all lovely.
These two cards are made using the Botanical For You S-A-B stamp set.
Again, a multi-purpose stamp for Birthdays or just someone special.
As with all my cards, the base is made the same way. The only difference is the panel size. The ones on these cards are 11 x 6.8 cm. The purple one is on Blackberry Bliss cardstock, the green one is on Mossy Meadow. Both layered with Very Vanilla then stamped with the same ink.
Mossy Meadow flowers are used with the same ink pad and the petite petals stamp. I simply inked the stamp then ‘stamped’ it three times to get the varying shades. I then punched the flowers out with the matching petite petals punch.
The same method was used on the purple card but with different coloured inks, all of which are from one of the ‘in-colour’ packs.
(Delightful Dijon, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagoon)
As shown on my previous ‘Thankyou with an addition’ post, the stamps and punches can be used in any way. You don’t need to stick to just one stamp and one punch. Mix and match, see what you can create.
